In the Big Science area we have expertise in designing and producing superconducting magnets and vacuum technology.
We have for example developed a cryostat for a HTS magnet, and in an advanced technology project we have developed a wide range of vacuum chambers in different sizes and shapes for a number of particle accelerators around the world.
We are known for delivering high-quality products that fully meet the requirements for mechanical strength, stability, tightness and purity in, for instance, vacuum chambers.
We have worked with chambers of cylinder sizes ranging from 16 mm to 1.5 m in diameter and with pressures up to 6 bar. In addition, we have helium leak testing equipment with a leak threshold of down to 10-12.
We have supplied vacuum chambers to, for example, an Electrostatic Analyzer unit and to a Syncrotron Booster Power unit.
